I was born in Odessa, Texas and moved to central Texas in 1989. I have lived in Austin for 5 years now and love it here. Makeup effects have always been a dream of mine since I was a child watching "Movie Magic". I started learning the craft at age 14, making wounds from petroleum jelly and toilet paper and lifecasts from plaster . When I moved to Austin from Smithville in 2000, I met Adam Dooley through a friend who was a makeup artist as well. Adam introduced me to the Austin film scene, and we started our own makeup effects company with other partners called "Hawgfly Productions Inc.". A few years later, Adam and I separated from Hawgfly to start our own makeup effects company called "IllusEffects Studios". Since then, we have been selling special effects products and working on short films and trailers. As a makeup artist, I will endeavor to use my skills and artistry to bring your visions to life on film.
