Our high quality silicone rubber is a tin catalyzed (condensation cure) mold rubber that
cures at room temperature.
It is self-lubricating,therefore, needs no release agent. The molds made from our silicone will yield 3 times more
castings than other molds and will produce exact replicas in high detail. It is excellent for casting cement, wax, soap,
plaster, low-melt metals, epoxy resins, urathane resins and polyester resins. Here at IIlusEffects Studios, we use this
silicone to replicate most of our prosthetics, props, and animatronic plastic parts. Our silicone moldmaking
compunds consist of two componets, a liquid base and catalyst or curing compund.
